Wow, 2 years have flown by! I've really loved working on this blog- it has evolved into something I never expected!
The best thing about starting this blog: hands down the generous, kind, creative people I have met through it. I've encountered some exceptional individuals whom I now consider good friends. To celebrate- I am giving away a 100% Silk Crepe de Chine Scarf in the Magic Marker Print from the ERMIE End of the Year Collection. The scarf is approximately 40 inches x 70 inches. Use it as a scarf, a wrap, or throw. Cozy. Dry Cleaning or hand washing recommended.

The details: Just leave a comment under this post- tell me what you enjoy about blogs, blogging, or about this blog specifically, -or share some of your favorite blogs to read right now.

You have until 12 Midnight Thursday 11/4/10 PST to comment. I will draw the name of 1 winner at random and post the results on Friday 11/5/10. I'll ship the prize free of charge to anywhere in the world.

Good Luck, and thanks so very much for reading these past two years!

I haven't been able to sleep tonight, but at least it allowed me to be first to enter the giveaway (not that that affects my chances, just kind of cool to be first).

And what an incredible giveaway it is! I have been drooling over all the fantastic prints you (with Tomory) have been designing, and all the gorgeous items you're creating with them.

I know I'll sound like a kiss-ass, but some of my favorite things about your blog are seeing what inspires you and, of course, following as you took the big and scary leap from a steady job in nursing to lead a life of creativity.
You really have been inspiring me to work on more of my creations, and maybe one day I'll get over my fear of the sewing machine (though I know how to sew, I'm more afraid that I'll mess up, which is totally irrational)!

Congratulations on a wonderful 2 years, and here's to many, many more!

Hello!

One of the biggest things I love about blogging is how one blog can always lead you to another great blog, which is how I found you! I've been lurking for quite a bit now, and drooling over your pieces... they are gorgeous and so unique. Of course, I had to apply for this giveaway.

Thank you!
-Katie

(I was also curious if you sell your clothing online?)

That print is really lovely! I love blogs (and yours in particular) because in reading them you get the chance to see a bit of the author's perspective on the world in which photos they find striking or beautiful enough to share and how they frame the events of their life and creative output.

Congratulations on 2 years of fantastic work!

Congratulations on 2 years!
You have put together a beautiful blog. I have enjoyed reading it and looking at all the beautiful and sensual photos you post. It has been a wonderful way to get to know you again. I still have the Georgia O'Keefe water color of the yellow flower and pencil illustrations that you created back in high school. It's been great seeing your artistic transformation over time.
Bless, bless.

Hi Jennifer, I love your blog because it gives me a window into your life. For so many years after college, all I could do was wonder what you were up too. You have done things I never imagined you doing (like eating meat!) and it is a constant joy to see your artistic creations unfurl. I know you will be very successful in you endeavors and keep blogging! xoxo

I love that all the blogs I read are so inspiring in so many different ways. Your style is so different from mine and I love that mine is slowly changing. I feel like blogs show me all the options and I can pick and choose what I really love!

Congratulations on 2 years!

Wow, stunning scarf. Your work is really evolving and I LOVE it!

My favorite part of blarging is all the cool people I have met through posting...some of my most solid friendships have been forged over the internet. It makes one feel less alone in the world, does it not? Keep up the good work and congrats on 2 years.

I'm new to your blog, and I actually can't remember how I stumbled on it, but I'm glad I did. I love the dreamy watercolour type of look in your clothes and photos. It's very calming.

I like blogging because it's a bit of an escape for me, and if you don't really care about who reads or likes you, I think it's really fun!

Congrats on two years! Your textiles are just beautiful.
I always head to blog land with a cup of tea when too much is going on in my world :-) so I can be in someone else's world for a little while.

i must agree that for me, the highlight of blogging has definitely been the opportunity to be introduced to such amazingly talented and created people (like yourself!)

i'm constantly inspired by what others are putting out into this world and it makes me want to push forward!

as an independent designer/artist who is working full time at a teahouse to make ends meet, reading your blog and those of others who have "made" it keeps my spirits up and gets me motivated, so inspirational and motivational!
thanks so much, the scarf is very lovely (!) but nothing can match the contribution that you have made by simply doing what you love to do!

Your blog makes me smile and reminds me to stop and delight in, enjoy small passing details of life every day. Kind of Proustian. Keep it up, and congratulations on all of the new designs. So beautiful. And I especially love the collaborations with you and Tomory. It seems like a rare gift to be able to truly work together creatively like that...and to make things that really work to boot!
